"SHOWCASE & COMBINE!"

MASON-DIXON SHOWCASES AND COMBINES

**What is a Showcase?**

A showcase is an exciting opportunity for talented athletes in a specific region to come together and compete against others of similar skill levels. It serves as a platform for these athletes to prove they are at the top of their game and excel in their positions.

What happens at a showcase?**

At a showcase, athletes undergo thorough evaluations as they participate in various skills and drills designed to assess key metrics like height, weight, speed, agility, and strength. After evaluation, athletes benefit from individualized and group coaching that targets their specific positions, significantly enhancing their on-field performance. They also compete in one-on-one (1-on-1) or team matchups, allowing coaches to rate them based on performance, measurable outcomes, competitive spirit, and their ability to follow instructions effectively.

**Why should an athlete attend?** Attending a showcase is essential for athletes aiming to display their skills and compete with the best. This experience offers early recognition, putting them on the radar of college coaches and recruitment lists well before they set foot in high school. In today’s rapidly evolving college sports landscape, early identification and recruitment have become the norm, cascading from college to high school and even down to middle school athletes. All local public and private high schools will have access to valuable data and write-ups highlighting the standout performers.
Mason-Dixon Showcases are recruited by the best high schools in the region. Participating in Mason-Dixon showcases and combines gives middle school athletes a significant edge over their peers. In the modern world of college recruiting, starting in middle school is no longer an option—it’s a necessity.
