MASON DIXON
"THE GAME!"
MASON DIXON ALLSTAR GAME
The Mason Dixon All-Star Game, also known as "THE GAME," is a week-long event that offers elite instruction and coaching to the next generation of unique athletes. It provides them with an opportunity to play and compete against top-level competition and gain valuable exposure.
The players will not only improve their skills physically but also mentally. To make the Mason Dixon Bowl the DMV's foremost youth football game, we consulted with some of the top high school coaches in the nation. They suggested including as many top players as possible in the region under a single venue to acknowledge them for their success. It was also essential to provide a platform where the best of the best can compete in a healthy environment, allowing coaches to effectively evaluate their talent.
Our goal for the 8th-grade teams is to ensure that each player gets recruited and plays for one of the area's top schools, both private and public. We also want to assist in making that school attainable for the family of each player. While each player is different, and some may choose to attend their local public high school, we want to make sure that each player has the exposure they need to make that choice.
We aim to ensure that each player is ready to play upon entering high school, and they know what it takes to maintain high school eligibility while competing against and with the best.
Over the years, several high school coaches from prominent programs such as Good Counsel, Gonzaga, Pallotti, DeMatha, St. John's, Georgetown Prep, Bishop McNamara, Calvert Hall, Loyola, Spalding, Archbishop Carroll, McDonough, Mount St. Joes, Wise, and Quince Orchard have attended Mason Dixon Bowl practices, showcases, camps, and the Bowl games.
Players are scouted to participate in "THE GAME!" which is the Mason Dixon Allstar Game. The region is separated by Maryland and those jurisdictions above or adjacent, and the state of Virginia and those jurisdictions that are adjacent or below.
Players are selected by recruiting analysts and talent evaluators from the Mason Dixon Allstar Game based on their performances on the field during the regular season, highlight film, combine results, coaches' recommendations, and other factors.
The Game will have three middle school age groups at 14U, 13U, and 12U. Each age group will consist of their respective region's top 35 players. One team will represent the North, while the other will represent the South. Players must be in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. A player can play up an age group but not down. Players are encouraged to play at the lowest level possible.
Compete, be seen and get recruited while creating unforgettable memories and develop lasting relationships. The Mason Dixon Allstar Game is recruited by the best high schools.
